Host fees and what you receive
Hosts pay 0% host fees, so you keep 100% of your stay price. Founding Hosts have 0% guaranteed for 5 years, to 29 November 2031.
The rates
- Every host: 0% host fee. It is our standard rate, not a time-limited offer.
- Founding Host, bookings made from launch day, 30 November 2026, to 29 November 2031: 0%, guaranteed for those 5 years.
- Returning guest (a guest with a completed stay at the same home, with check-out in the last 12 months): still 0% for you. The guest pays a 6% service fee instead of 12%.
No host fees, so prices can be lower than on other platforms.
Our standard host fee may change in future. If it does, we will give notice first, it will only apply to bookings made after the change, and Founding Hosts keep 0% to 29 November 2031.
The accommodation subtotal is your nightly price times the nights, plus your cleaning fee. Refundable bonds and government levies are never part of it. All fees include GST.
There are no other compulsory fees
Free to list. Optional upgrades if you want more. There is no compulsory listing fee, subscription, payout fee, processing fee or admin fee, and no annual cap. OzGetaways pays all card and payout processing fees itself. Listing Boost and Host Pro are optional paid upgrades with their price shown before you pay; you never need them to list, take bookings or be paid, and they never change your booking fees or payouts.
A worked example: $1,000 subtotal
- Standard (and Founding Host): host fee $0, you receive $1,000. The guest pays $1,120.
- Returning guest: host fee $0, you receive $1,000. The guest pays $1,060.
What you receive
What you receive is the subtotal minus your host fee: at 0%, the whole subtotal. The pricing step shows this figure live as you type your price, so there are no surprises. The rate on a booking is fixed on the day it is made and never changes afterwards.
