Getting paid
What you receive is the subtotal minus your host fee, with no payout or processing fees. Bank details are collected before your first booking.
What you receive
Your payout for a booking is the accommodation subtotal (nightly price times nights, plus cleaning fee) minus your host fee. Our host fee is 0%, so today that is the whole subtotal. There is no payout fee and no processing fee: OzGetaways pays those itself. No bond is taken: damage is handled by a GetawayShield claim, paid to you on its own with no fee.
When
Guests pay OzGetaways when they book. Payouts to hosts are being set up ahead of the 30 November 2026 launch, and we will confirm the payout timing with every host before the first booking can be made. Nothing is charged to a host in the meantime.
What we need from you
Before your first payout we collect your bank account details and the identity details the ATO requires from booking platforms. You will be asked once, in your host account.
Cancellations
If a guest cancels under your cancellation policy, the refund follows that policy and your payout is adjusted to match. See House rules, check-in and cancellation policies.
