From search to check-out
Six steps, no surprises. You are not charged unless your stay is confirmed.
- Step 1
Search with personality
Pick where, when and who is coming, then the feel you are after: fun, peaceful, tranquil, adventurous, energetic or mysterious. Every stay carries a Property Personality set by its host.
- Step 2
See the total price upfront
The first price you see is the whole stay for your dates, service fee included. Nothing is added at checkout, and any state levy is shown as its own line inside the total.
- Step 3
Request or instant book
Some places book instantly. Others ask the host, who replies within 24 hours. You are never charged for a request the host does not accept.
- Step 4
Pay securely
Once you are accepted you have 24 hours to pay by card through Stripe, and the dates are held for you until then. We never ask you to pay a host any other way.
- Step 5
Plan it on the trip board
Add your stay, things to do and ideas to one trip board, share it with the people coming, and vote on what makes the cut.
- Step 6
Stay, then review
Your check-in details arrive with your confirmation. After check-out you have 14 days to review, and every review comes from a real, completed stay.
