How long is the Founding Host 0% guaranteed?

5 years from launch day: every booking made from 30 November 2026 to 29 November 2031 has a 0% host fee, whatever happens to our standard rate. No rate is ever "for life". Two things are: listing on OzGetaways is free for life for every host, and the Founding Host badge stays on your listing for life.

Is 0% only for Founding Hosts?

No. 0% is our standard host fee for every host today. Founding Hosts have it guaranteed to 29 November 2031, plus the badge and priority placement. If our standard host fee ever changes, we will give notice first, and Founding Hosts keep 0% to 29 November 2031.

Does it cover every property I list?

Each property qualifies on its own and counts as one of the 2,500 places. Two properties, two checklists, two places.

Do my guests pay a fee?

Yes. Guests pay our 12% service fee on every stay, included in the price they see, so nothing is added at checkout. A guest returning to your home within 12 months pays 6%. Your 0% is the host fee: you keep 100% of your stay price.

What if I block my calendar for a while?

That is fine. Founding Host status does not lapse, so a quiet spell never costs you the guarantee.

Can I lose it?

Only if a listing is removed for breaking our terms. Pausing for a holiday does not affect it.

What if I sell the property?

Founding Host status belongs to the listing and its host account. It does not transfer with the property.

What does "we cover card fees" mean?

OzGetaways pays all card and payout processing fees itself. Hosts and guests never see a processing line.
