Do I have to leave Airbnb?
No. Keep your other listings and list with us too. Import their calendars into OzGetaways and export ours back by iCal, so dates booked on one show as taken on the others when the calendars next sync.
What's the catch?
There isn't one, but there are rules. Founding Host places are limited to the first 2,500 qualifying properties. Guests pay a 12% service fee, included in the price they see: that is how we make money. Optional paid upgrades exist, and you never need one to list, get booked or be paid.
What happens after 5 years?
0% is our standard host fee today, for every host. Founding Hosts have it guaranteed on every booking made from launch day, 30 November 2026, to 29 November 2031, whatever happens to the standard rate. If the standard rate ever changes, we will give notice first.
Guests pay a 12% service fee, included in the total price they see (6% for a guest returning to the same home within 12 months). We cover card and payout processing fees.

What counts as a qualifying property?
A state short-stay registration number where your state requires one (e.g. NSW STRA), at least 8 photos, and at least 60 open nights in the next 12 months. Founding Host places go to the first 2,500 qualifying properties. You also get priority placement, and the Founding Host badge stays on your listing for life.
When will I get bookings?
Guests can book from launch on 30 November 2026. List now so your place is ready on day one. We can't promise how many bookings you will get. As a Founding Host, every booking made from launch day to 29 November 2031 has a 0% host fee.
Is my address public?
No. Guests see your suburb and an approximate area on the map. Your street address stays private until a guest books.
